To Blog or Not To Blog

... So I asked a good friend, "Good friend, what exactly is a blog?"
The answer was not quite what I was looking for...

"There are many different types of blogs, differing not only in the type of content, but also in the way that content is delivered or written.
Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog
combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic".

Well, I am much to lazy to sit down at various times of the day and pour over websites, newspapers and television to come up with something to comment about.
Quite frankly, I doubt very seriously that anybody would actually give a nickel for my thoughts and views on world peace, the economy, illegal immigration or any other of today's hot topics.

I have decided therefore, to blog about something I know much about. Sports.

So friends, today's blog is called Sports, and here are my views:

1. Sports is usually played by educated rich kids. That's why most professional athletes are recent college graduates that earn millions.
2. Sports causes extreme amounts of stress, which is why profession athletes usually break the law.
3. Sports is a leading cause of divorce - just surf the web about A-Rod for details.
4. Professional athletes (even the ugly ones) usually get the hot chicks (Jeff Garcia comes immediately to mind).
5. Professional Athletes make great politicians. (Heath Shuler anyone?)

There you go. I have now blogged. Tomorrow we'll blog about fast food and it's impact on American health.
